This video pretty much sums up how we feel every morning when we head out. Chad has to stop three times to balance his load, meaning he moves his shaving bag (he hasn’t shaved for four weeks) from the right rear pannier to the left and strapping the tripod to the opposite bag and then moving the pencil box from one to the other and so on and so forth until the bike handles right. Then Chad has to stop to refold the map because he forgot, then Jowita has to pee, then Chad has to put on his glasses strap because he forgot, then we see something beautiful and we have to stop and stare; then we realize we missed our turn an have to turn around; then we have to eat an apple. Yup, we think this video is pretty much Us. Enjoy

A couple of shots of our fresh made rasberry vodka to calm the nerves and we are out the door! I can’t believe we are doing this! It may be a few days before we post again so here is another polish cartoon to fill the gap.

Out the door early this morning brought us back to Ciocia Marysia’s home and this time she brought the bridge club and out to hunt we went. This crisp, dewy morning was spent in the forest foraging for our dinner’s main ingredient, the wild mushroom, and with the bridge club, we were in good hands. These jolly women knew how to hunt! What a delightful set of friends!

We were probably the single largest source of amusement for a good number of people today. The driver of our first bus put it best when he exclaimed Jesus Maria (‘hey-zeus mar-e-a’) at first glance at the luggage that drew so much attention. We suppose it is time to get used to extra attention as it is sure to only increase as we mount our bicycles. We couldn’t help be relate to the opening staircase scene of Sasiedzi ‘Pralka’.
